Frequently Asked Questions
What is the time commitment to volunteer?
It’s flexible! Our base expectation is two to three hours a week, but you’re welcome to get more involved. We ask that volunteers aim to contribute for a minimum of six months to ensure continuity.
Does volunteering take place virtually or in-person?
All of our volunteering takes place virtually. This promotes greater accessibility and allows us to build a diverse international team.
What is the age requirement?
The majority of our volunteers are between 13 and 30 years old. If you are outside this age range but are still interested in contributing your expertise, please contact us at info@projectyoungaid.org to discuss other ways to get involved, such as guest speaking or mentorship.
What happens after I apply?
Our team reviews applications on a rolling basis. If your skills and interests are a good match for our current needs, we will reach out via email to schedule a brief virtual interview to get to know you better.
